BRENT MILLER: If a person believes that they have been the victim of malpractice, the first thing I suggest is to follow up with another doctor to check and see whether that subsequent doctor believes that there has been malpractice involved. If so, my recommendation is for the client to go and get all of their medical records from the doctor or the facility where they believe the malpractice occurred.
When we are first contacted by any potential medical malpractice client, it's important for us to examine each of those cases from the perspective of do we have a bad result or do we have medical malpractice. Medicine is not an exact science and sometimes you will have a bad result in the absence of malpractice.
By hiring our firm to handle medical malpractice cases, our clients benefit in a number of different ways. Number one, based upon our experience in handling these cases.
Number two; the ability of our clients to be able to speak with and ask questions of our attorneys. And lastly, we have a number of medical experts that can assist us in presenting the case to a jury.
