BRENT C. MILLER: At our firm, we handle strictly personal injury cases, from automobile accident claims, motorcycle crashes, and medical malpractice cases. When a client retains me to handle their case, my approach is to prepare each aspect of their case as if I am going to take their case to trial. Although I know that most cases do not go to trial, the way that I prepare each aspect of the case is assuming that we're going to be presenting the case to a jury. We handle a lot of motorcycle accident cases. And being a Harley rider myself, that puts me in a better position than most to understand the risks of the roadway and what my clients experience when they are involved in a motorcycle accident. Many of my clients when they're involved in an accident experience severe disability resulting in the inability to work, the inability to carry on their day-to-day actions. I have a son who's disabled. And having that experience I think has put me in a better position to understand the social programs that are out there and other benefits to help those that are disabled.
